Hello Swim Team families-

As the weather is warming up, we are beginning to plan for summer swim team. We hope you all will join us. Dates for summer swim team are 6/12-8/6 and we will have a developmental, juniors and senior team. We are asking that families register earlier rather then later so that we can better plan our schedule and pool needs.

We are sad to announce that Coach Rick Matthews will not be returning as a coach. We will certainly miss him and wish him the best of luck. We are currently looking for a developmental coach if parents have any ideas, please refer them to us.

On May 21^st from 8-1pm The Edgar May is hosting the VT Senior Games Southern Meet. This is very exciting for both the facility and for the Stingrays. This event will double as a fundraiser for swim team which will go a long way in boosting our funds that are used for celebrations, scholarships and team equipment. Any parents or senior swimmers who are available to volunteer during the meet would be very helpful.

Our team is also in need of officials and a starter. This season we plan to host 2 home meets. The first opportunity for training is very soon. This is a great way to help our team and it is free. There is an online, live Stroke & Turn Officials Training via Zoom this coming Tuesday from 7pm-9pm. It's hosted by New England Swimming and is open to everyone, BUT you do need to register in advance.
